Cowboy Stories and Poetry

Ranching is a hard way of life but it can also be very inspiring.  The sight of the foothills in early spring; the sounds of moving cows; the smell of the first summer thunderstorm.  There are stories about calving in the spring snowstorms, sorting bulls, harvesting until the wee hours of the morning, the list is endless!

Often my mind gets to wandering through these things and sometimes I’ll put pen to paper.  I hope you enjoy the results of these musings.   –  Travis Eklund
